MOLL MEDICAL RECEIVES 2004 MEDRAD SUPPLIER AWARD
DALLAS, TX - Moll Medical, a manufacturer of medical devices and components, received a supplier award presented by Jim Kessing, Senior Vice President of Operations for Medrad, and Peter K. Ochel, Executive Director of Procurement, during Medrad's annual Supplier Day on Wednesday, October 6, 2004. The Cost Reduction Contribution Award was presented for the first time and acknowledges realization of significant cost savings for Medrad, a worldwide leading provider of medical devices and services. Moll Medical is credited with efforts that considerably reduced costs in manufacturing an existing Medrad component through a collaborative redesign process. "Clearly, a devotion to providing customers with exceptional benefit while maintaining excellence in production is evident on the part of Moll Medical," said Mr. Ochel at the recognition ceremonies, attended by approximately 50 diverse companies from around the globe.
